The excursion by air-conditioned bus takes about 4 and a half hours, a break is planned for half, arrival in Luxor around 09:30. First follows a tour of the Karnak temple (the largest temple in the world, built over 2000 years).
The temple represents the building work of many successive rulers of Egypt, who competed in adding to and embellishing this great national shrine, which became the most important of Egypt’s temples during the New Kingdom.
After that, a cruise on the Nile is planned, which lasts 10 minutes. Then the boat docks to the west bank of the Nile, where a buffet lunch is organized (drinks are paid for).
After lunch, excursion to the Valley of the Queens (3 tombs – tickets included in the price). The tombs in the Valley of the Queens mostly belong to the 19th and 20th dynasties. A total of almost 80 tombs are now known.
Then, a visit to the temple of Queen Hatshepsut, one of the most famous women who ruled Egypt (there is a very interesting story associated with her, which you will hear during your visit to the temple).
Luxor with the Valley of the Queens ends with a visit to two statues of the Colossi of Memnon. Departure for Hurghada around 16:30
